Solutions
At High Road, we've got your problem...
solved.
A Festival store database
A major music festival found it was having difficulty checking in performers' CDs for the festival store. This was frustrating staff and performers and costing them sales. At the end of the festival check out of inventory and payment to artist reconcilliation was even worse.
High Road developed an on line data entry system. Artists could input their CD titles and other inventory along with prices and estimated quantities while on the road and well before the festival. We then integrated a laptop based version of the system that included check in and check out systems and immediate reconcilliation at check out. The festival sales improved, staff was very pleased and artists loved the ease and speed of check in and out.
A Complex Small Business Website
A local restaruant with a bed and breakfast component decided to open an upscale restaurant alongside their existing operations. They wanted their web site location to stay the same but wanted people to clearly see that the business had these three major components. High Road rethought and redisigned their web site from the ground up. The result was a more unified image while clearly demarking the 3 components of the business and giving each of them their own brand. They now have a flexible and unified site which you can see here.
Visual Data Mapping on a Website
An environmental group wanted to track sightings of Sea Turtles and be able to display the results in numerous ways on line. We developed a set of ways to extract their sighting data, including each year's sightings and all sightings by various categories. These were then integrated with google map displays directly on their web site. Easy to use and understand navigation among the maps was created. Anyone can now explore the data in a variety of ways in real time on line. You can see it here.
